The Ideal Agro-retailing Model for the Agro-Retailing sector after the Fast Track Land Reform in Zimbabwe: A Case Study of Farm and City Centre

Abstract

This study was aimed at identifying the ideal Agro-retailing model that could be used in Zimbabwe after the Fast Track Land Reform Programme because the studies carried out in recent years appear to indicate that the Fast Track Land Reform Programme has had many effects across the Zimbabwean economic and social spectrum. Like in the previous researches, this study shows that there has been a decrease in the production across the sector seriously affecting the up and down industries. These effects have been felt the most in agro-business, an industry which directly relies on constant and uninterrupted supply of produce from producers and to end users alike.
