The Effect of Supplier Relationship Management on SME’s Performance: a Study of the Cattle Hide Industry in the Sokoban Enclave of the Kumasi Metropolis

Abstract                                                                                     

The study examined the effect of supplier relationship management on the performance of SMEs, using SMEs in the Cattle Hide Industry at Sokoban in the Kumasi Metropolis as a case study.  The study was descriptive using primary data collected through the questionnaire and analaysed using the statistical package SPSS. Out of a sample size of 92, selected randomly from a population of 120 using the Krejcie and Morgan sampling technique, 80 responded. The study observed that the respondents did not know in practice, or were they having official structures instituted for managing supplier relationship management.
