Retirement is inevitable in the life of every worker but could be traumatic to many unprepared ones. The objective of the study was to examine the strategies adopted by retired primary school teachers in Imo State to curb retirement challenges. The study was a descriptive survey and guided by two research questions. The population of the study comprised 2,228 retired primary school teachers in Imo State from 2000 to 2014. A sample size of 1,040 was drawn through accidental sampling technique. Questionnaire was the instrument for data collection.
