Abstract

This study employed descriptive survey to ascertain the perceptions of lecturers in Agricultural Engineering Department of Tamale Polytechnic about the suitability of the assessment model employed for the Competency-Based Training programme. Data were collected from lecturers within the department. Descriptive statistics in the form of frequency counts and percentages were used to analyse respondents’ demographic characteristics, means and standard deviations were used to determine the suitability levels of the assessment system,
