The evolution and development of various traditional artistic media over the past years have influenced the way artists have adapted methods and techniques to create artistic expressions. Therefore the purpose of this paper is to review the argument on medium specificity, post medium art and integrated media art practices. The paper also explores integrated media studio art practices through qualitative practice-based and descriptive research methodologies. The research also explores artistic enquiry and positions the integration of media technology within the discourse of research. The results from the studio enquiry established that integrating media technology through painting, photography and digital art can create artifacts as cultural expressions in Ghana.
