Peer Review Process
The journal employs a double-blind peer review process to assess manuscripts prior to publication, ensuring the scrutiny and regulation of the content's quality. ADRRI Journal (Procurement, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management) conducts the peer review processes through the following steps:
Submission of Paper: Authors or corresponding authors submit their papers through the journal's online system. In cases of difficulty, submissions may be accepted via email, but the entire review process is conducted through the Journal Online System.
Editorial Office Assessment: The journal reviews the composition and arrangement of papers to ensure authors adhere to the guidelines outlined in the required sections and styles.
Appraisal by the Editor-in-Chief: The editor-in-chief assesses whether the submitted papers are original, appropriate, and sufficiently interesting. Papers that fail to meet these criteria may be rejected at this stage.
Assignment of Associate Editor: The Editor-in-Chief assigns an Associate Editor from ADRRI Journal (Procurement, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management) to oversee the peer review process.
Invitation to Reviewers: Invitations are extended to individuals deemed suitable as reviewers for the manuscript.
Response to Invitations: Potential reviewers evaluate the invitation considering their expertise, conflicts of interest, and availability. They may choose to accept or decline.
Review Conducted: Reviewers set aside time to read the paper, forming an initial impression on the first read. They may choose to reject the paper if major problems are identified; otherwise, they conduct multiple readings, noting salient points. The review is then submitted to the journal with a recommendation to accept, reject, or request revisions.
Journal Evaluation of Reviews: All returned reviews are considered before reaching a final judgment or decision.
Communication of Decision: The decision, along with any relevant reviewer comments, is communicated to the author by the editor through the Journal Online System.
