Guest Editor
The guest editor holds the primary responsibility of possessing prior knowledge regarding the intellectual content of manuscripts and publication issues. This encompasses tasks such as securing articles from authors, conducting reviews, collaborating with authors and editorial assistants for necessary revisions, and organizing the peer-review process. It is crucial that the selected papers demonstrate scientific quality and align with the Journal's domain. Guest editors, who are experts in the field, should oversee the article selection process to ensure fairness and timeliness. They must address potential conflicts of interest among reviewers and, if necessary, involve at least two external reviewers, with input from both the guest editor and editor-in-chief. Adhering to best practices, the guest editor should follow a guide provided by the publisher to prevent the selection of fraudulent peer reviewers. Utilizing an electronic submission system for all communications, the guest editor is also responsible for safeguarding the confidentiality and protection of all materials submitted to the Journal.
