The focus of the research is to examine the influence of best practices, worker satisfaction on job retention in the hospitality industry in Ghana especially the small hotels. The study sample consists of 250 respondents selected from 50 small hotels. Data were analyzed by employing structural equation modelling (SEM) supported by AMOS 23.0 with maximum likelihood estimation in order to examine the three formulated hypotheses. The findings obtained suggest that, all three hypotheses were positive and significant. Thus, best practices have significant influence on worker satisfaction and job retention whilst worker satisfaction also influences job retention.
