The relationship between teamwork and productivity has been a major subject for consideration in organizations in Ghana. This study sought to examine the effects of teamwork on productivity in the University for Development Studies (UDS), Wa Campus. The study used descriptive case study design. A total of 25 respondents comprising 17 senior employees and eight (8) management staff in the University answered a designed questionnaire for the study. The study revealed that high productivity depends much on how effective and efficient people work in teams. Based on that, it was recommended that teamwork should be improved and encouraged by management of the University, to increase productivity. Employees of the University should also be grouped into teams and work as teams regularly as it would make them perform better at their jobs. It was further recommended that management of the University should pay more attention to employees working in teams in order to identify the various fields that each employee has high levels of skills.
