Abstract

Logistics is used broadly to refer to the management of the flows of resources which includes people, materials, inventory, and equipment from a given location to be stored at a desired destination. Logistics simply means getting products and services where they are needed whenever they are desired. The study therefore sought to examine the logistical constraints experienced in the Abokobi Government Hospital. It employed a descriptive survey design and a sample size of sixty was targeted. Questionnaire and interview guide were used in collecting the data from respondents. It was discovered from the study that logistical constraints is faced in all the departments of the hospital, from the Out patients Department through to the pharmacy department and this is as a result of bad stock keeping by store keepers, delays in supply, poor management, and delays in the disbursement of funds.
