Assessment of drinking water effects on Consumers’ health; a case study of Awoshie


Drinking water plays crucial roles in the lives of Humanity. However, its existence possess adverse health implications on consumers. For the purpose of this study, 81 respondents were used. Well-structured questionnaires with closed-ended questions were used for data collection to evaluate the views of consumers on unsafe drinking water at Awoshie. The rationale behind this work was to assess the effects of unsafe drinking water on consumer at Awoshie community. Empirical studies below avouch drinking water in Awoshie harm consumers depending on the following sources; Tap water (54.3%), Borehole (23.5%), Bottle water (18.5%) and surface water (3.7%).
