Assessing the Effects of Tourism and Its Activities on the People of the Mole Communities

Abstract

The objective of the study was to determine the effects of tourism and its activities on the people of the Mole communities. The study used survey as the research design for the study.  Probability sampling design was adopted to draw the sample and simple random sampling was used to select the respondents for the study. A questionnaire was used to solicit the views of the one hundred and ten (110) respondents in the Mole Communities. Data was analyzed and was presented in the form of tables and charts. The result indicated that tourism has an influence on the performance of their business in the Mole communities.
