Assessing the Effects of Gender on the Adoption of Conflict Management Strategies at the Workplace: The Case of Tamale Polytechnic.

Abstract

This study assessed the effects of gender on the adoption of conflict management strategies at the workplace. The key issues the study addresses included: the extent at which a person’s gender could influence his or her approach to conflict management; and the preferred conflict management techniques by male and female. The study used descriptive survey as its research design with purposive and systematic sampling techniques for the selection of the respondents with questionnaire as the research instrument.
