An Exploratory Study of Mentoring In Universities in Ghana.

Abstract

The study explored mentoring relationships in universities in Ghana and the main objective was to find out whether mentoring is used to support academic activities. Mentoring facilitates success in academic pursuits. The purpose of the study therefore is to increase the awareness and knowledge of university administrators on the need for mentoring for university students. Primary data for the study was sourced from students of the University of Ghana and Central University College. The convenience sampling method was adopted to obtain two hundred (200) respondents who formed the sample size.
