Abstract

Ghanaian Sign Language is used as an effective mode of communication for deaf people in Ghana. In pursuing their day to day activities with their hearing acquaintances, deaf people face communication problems of various kinds. Therefore, this study seeks to bridge the communication gap that exists between the deaf and hearing people in Ghana. Teaching sign language to hearing people has been considered as one of the ways of bridging the communication gaps between the hearing and the deaf community.
